Batman Street Art in Spain

21 Jul

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is nowadays on everyone’s lips, and matching up with the world Premiere of the new movie of the comic heroe,  we can find in Plaza de Callao, one of the most crowded squares in Madrid, a little art surprise:

But also we can find an huge Batman logo cut into a field of crops in Sant Boi de Lluçanés near Barcelona:

Of course, we know that is part of promotional activities surrounding the release of the movie. But hopefully Batman answer the spanish call and rescue Spain, at least financially :P.

I remember the two-parter TV Batman series with Adam West…
While I’ve seen at least one of the Batman trilogy, maybe even the second…I think I’m going to wait a bit to see number three…as it appears to be…well dark.
Love the caulk art, and the field…funny. As Robin might have said, “Holy cut grains, Batman!”

I’ll also wait a little bit to watch it! But I’ve seen the two first parts of the trilogy, and I can’t wait to see the next one :). Thanks for passing by!

It is brilliant, dark yes, but brilliant. I hope you enjoyed it if you have now seen it.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Spain and are telling everyone about it – doing our bit to boost their economy through promoting tourism, after all, with the exchange rate at an all-time high, Australians should make the most of it and jump on a plane to go and see for themselves! (ps thanks for visiting my blog)

Art is the best way of uniting the world. While politics and greed do just the opposite. Great post!

That’s simply amazing. I had to look really long and had to make sure the sidewalk wasn’t falling. Whoever made that drawing is brilliant.
