We wanted to make a small post about the craziest buildings you can find in our lovely country. But after doing some research…Wow… we cannot name all of them in just ONE post!
Let’s start with the ones we already have shown you here in this blog:

Número Uno: La Ciudad de las Ciencias y de las Artes de Valencia.

What is it: With this “short” name we have one of the most revolutionary buildings in Valencia. The whole city was revitalised with this complex of buildings with an opera house, an oceanographic, museums…

What do we think when we look at it: we think of manatees! or armadillos 🙂

How to spoil historical paintings aka El Cristo de Borja.

Today this was big news in Spain: an 80-year-old woman in Borja, Zaragoza, decided the local Church’s 19th century fresco needed a restoration.

The “before and after” image is…better see it yourself.

Of course it was TT in Spain and many other “restorations” can be found on the internet. There is even a FB fan group of “Cecilia, Borja’s Christ restorer”

Holiday Rent Club in Spain

A few hundred years ago a fleet of famous adventurers started their trip from Spain and found the Americas. Nowadays, more than 50 million tourists visit and enjoy the Mediterranean country, the second-largest tourist destination in the world.

Here at, Holiday rent Club, we conducted a small research on the Spanish market and found some very interesting data that are represented in the cool infographic. We are proud that we are focusing on this market by offering over 3000 vacation rentals to our travellers.

tripNETer Road Trip Stop: Teatro-Museo Dalí, Crazy or Genious?

We decided to spend the whole day in Figueres, to introduce us and get the deepest feeling for Dalí’s essence.

as a side note, this Teatro-Museo is considered the largest surrealist object in the world, Dalí himself collaborated with architects and curators to design and build the museum, so he spent many years in his later life designing and living in it.

The main entrance of the museum is located in ‘Plaza de Gala-Salvador Dalí’, which is already a fine and visceral piece of artwork.
