Monocle Magazine features tripNETer

21 Aug

tripNETer had the great honor to taking up little space in the prestigious Monocle Magazine.

In the last two years this magazine launched a summer newspaper, called “Monocle Mediterraneo”, and our young entrepreneur company appears in the Business/Inspirations section.

From here we thank Monocle and we leave a capture of the section and we present the full transcription of the article.

Get yourself connected

With many young professionals in Spain shifting their gaze abroad in order to survive, it’s refreshing that the brains of tripNETer decided to stay put. Allan, 31, Miguel,24 and Raúl, 31, are capitalising on the fact that over 50 million tourits flock to Spain each year.

Fed up with exorbitantroaming chargeswhile travelling, they have designed a service that utilises a modem that fits in your pocket. Allowing connections for up to five devices, tripNETer can be mailed out to tourits for the duration of their trip and posted back at the end.

“We’re a generation that feels naked without the internet,” says Miguel, “When you’re in a foreign country, your smartphone can be your only lifeline.” The Barcelona-based trio are stablishing partnerships with tourism groups throughout Spain, with hopes to expand internationally.

Don’t forget to grab one!
